Considered one of the toughest pilgrimages in the Himalayan folds of Jammu & Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra has been one of the oldest journeys of faith for Hindu devotees, dating to Vedic times. The focal point of the journey is an ancient cave in which stands the hallowed ice lingam, representing Lord Shiva. Moved by the combination of myth and religious belief, yatris (pilgrims) register months ahead with the government bodies that officially make the arrangements for a safe journey to the cave shrine. When you stand in the benign presence of the Lord, it is easy to recall the ancient belief that Lord Shiva, whispered the secret of creation in the ear of his wife Parvati, in the deep secrecy of this hidden cave in the Himalayas, where no one else could hear him reveal this most precious knowledge, to which only he had access.

Day 1 : Srinagar - Pahalgam

Fly from Delhi to Srinagar,On arrival at Srinagar, our representative will greet you at the airport and brief you about the Amarnath Ji yatra, From the airport, you will be transferred to a Pahalgam, on the way enjoy beauty of Pahalgam. Overnight in hotel at Pahalgam.

Day 2 : Pahalgam - Lord Shiva Cave - Pahalgam

Early Breakfast (morning 5 am) drive for Helipad to board the Helicopter for Panjtarni. After that we will proceed to Lord Shiva Cave (6 km from Panchtarni) by foot or pony ride (at your own cost). After darshan of Lord Shiva fly back to Pahalgam. Overnight stay in hotel at Pahalgam.

(In case you got stuck in Panjtarni, due to weather conditions or any other problem, you will be staying at Panjtarni at your own)

Day 3 : Pahalgam - Srinagar local sightseeing

Morning after breakfast drive to Srinagar check in hotel after fresh up full day sightseeing of Srinagar covering Mughal Garden, Nishant Bagh, Shalimar Garden, Chashme Shahi, famous Shankaracharya temple and Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 4 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After Breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Gulmarg. A ride on the famous Gondola cable car is highly recommended. Evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 : Srinagar Departure

After Breakfast drive to Srinagar airport for your destination flight.

Items of Personal Nature - such as mini bar in the room, laundry, table drinks, telephone bills, tips to room boys, drivers, guides, personal clothing including sleeping bags etc.
Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes) etc.
Any increase in Airlines taxes or fuel price at the time of departure, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
