Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This world famous hill station is 45 km from the district head quarter at Anantnag and located on the banks of river Lidder at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level. Pahalgam is one among the five tehsils of Anantnag district and tehsil headquarters are located in the main town of Pahalgam. It was once a tourist attraction and a favourite place of shooting of Bollywood films and is still a health resort. Besides tourist huts, several hotels in private sector have come up here and these hotels provide modern facilities to their guests. A number of treks in this region also begin from Pahalgam, as the 35 km trail traverses through pinewoods to the spectacular Kolahoi Glacier.

Day 1: Arrive Srinagar

On arrival at Srinagar airport, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Welcome to Srinagar, the Lake City. Begin your tour of “Exotic Kashmir”. After check-in proceed to local sightseeing of Srinagar with a tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (the royal spring), Nishat (the garden of pleasure), Shalimar (the abode of love), Pari Mahal, Shah E Hamdan Mosque, and Jama Masjid. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar – Excursion to Doodhpathri OR Sonmarg

Day 3: Srinagar - Gulmarg (50 kms - 2 hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is also known as “Meadow Of Flowers “ & has a famous Golf course during summer (which is one if the highest 18-holes golf course in the world) & Ski Resort during winter. One can enjoy the breathtaking views of snow clad mountains, Gondola cable car ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg (on direct payment) to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs (on direct payment) and to a lake, which remains frozen until June. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 4: Gulmarg - Pahalgam (140 km - 4½ hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam. It is known as the land of shepherds. The mountain town is located along the bank of River Lidder. Here you can visit many breath taking places enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields. Also visit Avantipura Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs. One can visit Chandanwari, Betab Valley and Aru Valley (own cost) has a fine Meadows of Picturesque scenery & starting point of trekking of Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier, Tarsar Lake. You can enjoy also Horse Riding upto Baisaran Valley (Mini Switzerland) (own cost). Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 5: Pahalgam - Srinagar (95 km - 2½ hrs approx.)

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Harzratbal Mosque in Old City and enjoy shopping. In evening enjoy Shikara Ride on Dal lake for 1 hour and explore the beauty of the lake. Overnight stay at Houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 6: Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast check out from Houseboat & transfer to Srinagar Airport to board the flight for onward destination.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

All passengers must download Aarogya Setu App, wear mask & gloves and carry Sanitizer.
A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
Due to Union restrictions, our vehicles are not allowed in Gulmarg, Pahalgam & Sonamarg for inner sightseeing either the client can hire a local vehicle or Pony/Sledge from the market for local sightseeing.
The outside circle from J&K Prepaid Sims doesn’t work, only POSTPAID Sims (RELIANCE, IDEA, BSNL, VODAFONE, AIRTEL).
Gondola at Gulmarg remains closed on 1st & 3rd Monday of every month for maintenance purpose. For Issuance of Tickets, Photo ID is required.
Due to any happenings related to weather conditions/natural calamities (landslides, snowstorm etc.), there will be no refund for the services booked.
In Kashmir, most of the sightseeing places are being visited by walk as vehicle reach till certain point/parking area only.
Due to mountain region and spiral driving, we will advise to take medicine for high altitude sickness (headache, vomiting, vertigo etc.).
All passengers have to report 02 Hours prior to the departure due to security checking at the Sheikh Ul Aalam International Airport – Srinagar.
No hand baggage will be allowed to carry inside the aircraft due to security reasons. Only Cash & Jewellery, Mobile Phones, Camera and laptops will be allowed for cabin baggage.
Vehicle will be properly sanitised after every tour and have all required / valid documents.
In case of any new SOP’s for Post COVID era which may require special arrangements, cost for these special arrangements would be chargeable extra. What these special arrangements would be and how much it will cost cannot advise now.
