Udaipur is a small city in the western side of Rajasthan. With a romantic setting that is totally unmatched, Udaipur is inarguably one of the picturesque places in India. Is is the capital of the Rajput kingdom of Mewar. Founded by Udai Singh II in 1559, its set around a series of artificial lakes and known for its lavish palaces. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces famed for its intricate peacock mosaics. Fantastical palaces, temples, havelis and countless narrow, colourful streets add the human counterpoint to the city's natural charms.

Day 1 : Arrival at Udaipur

On arrival at Udaipur, check-in to the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening you can enjoy evening Boat Ride (on direct payment) at Lake Pichola and take a walk around old city areas around the lake and also visit Bagore Ki Haveli for the Cultural Show (on direct payment basis). Overnight in hotel.

Day 2 : Udaipur City Tour

Time to enjoy full day sightseeing of Udaipur, visit City Palace Museum (near Lake Pichola), Vintage Car Museum, Jagdish Temple, Karni Mata Temple (Ropeway/optional). Visit local markets for shopping. Evening visit to Sajjan Garh Fort (11 kms) is recommended which offers stunning views of the Udaipur and its lakes from a hilltop. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Udaipur Excursions

Today you have options for half day excursions from Udaipur. Options here include Nathdwara (Krishna Temple - 42 Kms / 1 Hr) en route visit Eklingji and Haldighati Museum (Maharana Pratap Memorial) OR day excursion to Chittorgarh Fort (120 Kms / 2 Hrs one way) (a 25 km detour while returning and one will be able to visit Eklingji and Haldighati Museum (Maharana Pratap memorial) OR Day visit to Ranakpur Jain Temples (80 Kms) and Kumbhalgarh Fort (55 kms). In the evening, you have option to return to Lake Pichola for another heritage walk and boat ride OR Visit Shilpgram (Craft Gallery) near Fatehsagar Lake.

Day 4 : Departure

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel for in time transfer to Udaipur railway station or airport for onward journey.
